• 1 pkg yellow butter cake mix
• 2 cans mandarin oranges and juice of 1 can (11 oz)
• ½ cup salad oil (Wesson oil or other vegetable oil)
• 3 eggs
• 2 cut or slightly crushed orange slices
• 8 oz crushed pineapple (do not drain)
• 1 pkg vanilla instant pudding ( small)
• ½ tsp vanilla
• 1 (9 oz) Cool Whip or heavy whipping cream

Mix all ingredients. Grease and flour 3 cake pans.

Bake in three layers at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes.

Filling:

Mix together all ingredients and use them as filling and frosting.

The cake will need to be refrigerated.
